I am a 24-year old Philadelphia-based writer and blogger with a soft spot for vintage clothing and antiques. Hinterland Vintage is my much-loved pet project that brings me a great deal of hope and happiness.
When I was a little girl my parents used to drag me to antique shops and scold me not to touch anything. I went kicking and screamiing as a kid, but as I got older, I began to develop an appreciation for items with a history and a story. The clothing came next.
In high school, thrift stores were somewhat of a haven for me. I loved to hunt around in racks and racks of clothes, looking for that perfect piece. I began to shop vintage as a teenager and haven’t stopped since.
Hinterland Vintage is my way of bringing lovely vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories to you. I hope you will browse around my Etsy shop and find something that you adore. My mom dragged me to antique stores, too. Some of my fondest memories are tracing dust patterns on old English furniture in a big warehouse in East Texas.
